FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Play a 'dill-ightful' game of pickleball to improve the lives of low-income community members on Sunday. This is the first annual Serve It Forward Pickleball Party hosted by Wellspring Interfaith Social Services. According to the Wellspring website, attendees are able to receive guidance from pickleball professionals and enjoy open play time. Food and drink will also be served. Kids, at or above the age of 10, who are not pickleball fans can head next door to Power Up Action Park. The Pickleball Party runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at ACE Pickleball Club located at 5310 Merchandise Dr. The cost of admission is $75. Wellspring is a faith-based organization which extend services to low-income Allen County residents, including a food bank, youth after school program and community closet.
