A man died in a shooting near N. 11th St and W. Atkinson Ave. at about midday Saturday, according to the Milwaukee Police Department The 49-year-old victim pronounced dead at the scene and a 26-year-old was taken into custody for the shooting. According to MFD, they were called to the scene for a car that crashed into a light pole and took one person to the hospital for treatment. MPD charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
