EKU 28-17 Utah Tech As Homecoming celebrations commenced, the Colonels won for the first time since they left Richmond for back to back road games The star of the show was running back Joshua Carter, who had a career-high 167 rush yards and two touchdowns. “Obviously it’s great to come out and get a win on Homecoming in front of a great crow and in a great atmosphere,” said Head Coach Walt Wells. “I’m proud of our football team, proud of their efforts. We have things we need to clean up, but overall happy with the outcome tonight.” Georgetown 24-3 Bethel Frederick Douglass product, running back Darius Neal is now fourth in all-time rush yards for the Tigers’ program after scoring twice on Saturday and rushing for 163 yards. Georgetown is riding a four game winning streak and are undefeated at home. The Tigers play The University of the Cumberlands next weekend at home for Senior Day.
