WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. on Saturday afternoon. Police said that at about 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Alabama Ave. for the report of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot. The shooting is being investigated as a homicide, according to police.
