(BCN) -- A WarnMe alert from UC Berkeley urged people to avoid Haste Street, Telegraph Avenue, 2299 Bancroft, 2223 Fulton Ave, 2200 University, and the surrounding area after shots were reportedly fired. At approximately 12:21 a.m., Saturday, the UC Berkeley Police Shot spotter system detected several single gunshots south of the campus, heading west, according to the alert. Barricaded suspect shot and killed by officer after aiming gun at police: Fairfield PD Police and emergency personnel were dispatched.
