Semiautomatic gun found in the vehicle of a man with hate crime warrant

(KRON) – A man with an outstanding warrant for a criminal threats hate crime charge has been arrested, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
At 11 p.m. on Friday, deputies conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in Half Moon Bay. The driver was identified as 52-year-old El Granada resident Jason R. Quiros.
After further investigation, it was determined that Quiros had an outstanding warrant for a criminal threats hate crime charge and a disorderly conduct charge.

Fremont police looking for missing teenager
A fully loaded and unregistered semi-automatic firearm was recovered from Quiros’ car, according to the sheriff’s office.
Quiros was arrested and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for suspicion of possession of an unregistered loaded firearm and his warrant.
