PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Saturday was National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. multiple communities had events where people could drop off their unwanted or expired prescription drugs anonymously. "It's very important to bring the medication because one, we don't want this medication to get into the wrong hands, two, we want it safe for our children and three, for our environment," Obed Papp, who worked at the event in Providence, told 12 News.
