And this is his official list for his top 10 favorite horror movies to watch during Halloween season. 1. Trick 'r Treat (2007) Why Watch: "It's an anthology of interconnected Halloween night tales," explained Hobaica. "This cult classic fully captures the spooky season’s vibe. With a blend of humor, scares and self-awareness, Trick ‘r Treat is a fan favorite for a reason." 2. Terrifier 2 (2022) Why Watch: "This film is blood-soaked and unrelenting," warned Hobaica "Terrifier 2 combines twisted humor with disturbing kills, all on an extremely low budget, adding to its charm. Let the Right One In (2008) Why Watch: "This film is a haunting, yet tender queer vampire story set in snowy Sweden," said Hobaica. It Follows (2014) Why Watch: " This modern classic brings a fresh premise -- an unrelenting supernatural entity that slowly, but relentlessly, 'follows' its targets," said Hobaica. Halloween (1978) Why Watch: "This is a quintessential Halloween slasher that started it all,' explained Hobaica.
