The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast From Storm Team 5... What a beautiful fall day it was on Saturday as high pressure glided overhead and kept skies relatively clear. Temperatures cooled back to typical readings in the low to mid 50s. Overnight there will be a few clouds slide through courtesy of a weak mid level trough to our north. Temperatures will cool down to the low to mid 30s overnight. Winds will pick up around sunrise tomorrow. We will be positioned on the western, warmer side of high pressure for Sunday and the return flow will help to warm us up into the upper 50s and low 60s. It will get a bit breezy once again, with a SW wind gusting to 25mph in the afternoon. Few morning clouds give way to afternoon sunshine. I'm expecting clouds to increase overnight, calling it partly cloudy. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s. The winds will really crank up Monday and the clouds will slowly thicken up throughout the day with the approach of a warm front. Highs will reach the lower to middle 60s. This front will spark a few showers, maybe a rumble of thunder late in the day. Tuesday will be a mixture of sun and clouds, but very windy. Highs will be close to 80 degrees. The record is 77, if we hit 80, it will be latest 80 degree day on record. Wednesday a cold front will approach the area and that will deliver us a good chance for showers and a rumble of thunder during the afternoon and into the evening. Looks like latest modeling keeps Halloween dry, but something to monitor still.
