FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Saturday morning, the Allen County Democratic Party held an early vote rally at the Allen County courthouse. Dozens of excited voters came out to the rally, all with the goal of pushing out the vote and encouraging the community to vote early. There were local and national democratic candidates in attendance such as Valerie McCray who is running for U.S. Senate, Kiley Adolph, running for Congress, and Jennifer McCormick, democratic candidate for Indiana Governor. McCormick emphasized how important it is to vote in this election cycle, especially for Hoosiers. "Indiana is, unfortunately, 50 out of 50, and voter turnout, and I know we've had some really great early voting across the state, and we're hearing some amazing numbers, and I think that's great...is an incredibly, incredibly important vote, not just for democracy, but for our freedoms." On Monday, additional satellite locations for early voting will open at Ivy Tech's Coliseum Campus, Indiana Wesleyan, the Public Safety Academy, and Salomon Farm. The final day to vote early is on Monday, Nov. 4, from 8:00 am to noon, at the Rousseau Centre only.
