EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- The El Paso Community College (EPCC) men's cross country team won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region V and Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) championships in Hobbs, New Mexico, EPCC said in a news release. Along with the championships, the men's team placed four runners in the top 10 for the 8K race and were named All-Conference: (3) Mathew Kipkoech, (4) Wallace Kigen, (6) Hector Sanchez and (10) Timothy Kiprotich. The second-place EPCC women had two All-Region finishers in the 5K Race: (3) Antonia Ronoh and (5) Esnath Ndlovu.
