COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead after being shot near a Kroger in north Columbus on Saturday afternoon. Columbus police were dispatched on reports of a person shot at North High Street and Clark Place around 2:38 p.m., near a Kroger. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where they were pronounced dead at 4:24 p.m., according to police dispatchers.
