Area high school district final results for Oct. 26: Volleyball • Mayfield won its first district championship since 2013 with a 25-23, 24-26, 12-25, 25-18, 17-15 victory over North Royalton at Elyria Catholic. The Wildcats were the No. 16 seed and North Royalton the No. 6. • Riverside rallied from a 2-1 deficit and defeated Brecksville-Broadview Heights in five sets at Maple Heights, 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-8, 15-8. • Kirtland lost to Dalton at Berkshire, 25-19, 25-20, 28-26.
