LAWRENCE TWP. — Becca Boggs wrote her name atop the Lawrence High girls soccer program’s record book. The junior assisted on the Cardinals’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon that moved her into first place all-time with 28 assists. Boggs broke the previous mark held by LHS Hall of Famer Erica Young, which she set from 1996-99 while playing for Boggs’ father Dave. Boggs slipped a pass through to Michaela Little in the first half for the record breaker. It was her 17th helper of the season. Little’s tally was her 17th. The Bucs (4-14) broke a 1-all tie with a goal in the second half. The Cardinals (10-8) dropped their second straight, but are still in line for a home game in the Central Group III playoffs.
