All four inmates that escaped from the Chesterfield County Detention Center earlier this month are now in custody, the sheriff’s office announced Saturday. Deshawn Malik Fox and Kyonne Marquise McLeod, the two remaining escapees, were arrested Friday by the Darlington Police Department. They were booked by police for trespassing, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana, the sheriff’s office said. Both are being held in the Darlington County Detention Center. The other two escaped inmates, Emanuel Robson Planco and Anton Conway Bennett, were arrested earlier this month. Planco was arrested in Richland County while Bennett was apprehended in Halifax, North Carolina. The details upon how the inmates escaped from the detention center is still under investigation.
