The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division is seeks information to identify the suspect in a battery investigation where a disabled veteran was allegedly struck with his own cane by the suspect. On Wednesday, Oct. 9,2024, a battery occurred involving an unknown suspect and elderly, disabled veteran in the area of Carson and Bath Street. The suspect is alleged to have struck the victim with his own cane. Throughout the course of the Investigation, a picture of a suspect and vehicle has been obtained, according to the sheriff's office in a news release. Scroll and click on photos to enlarge. The suspect is a Hispanic male, approximately 30 to 40 years of age. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black short and black shoes. The suspect is associated with a gray Nissan SUV.
