WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — Officers in Williston are currently investigating after a dead body was found on the evening of Friday, October 25. According to a Facebook post from the Williston Police Department, at approximately 6:58 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding an unresponsive individual in the 600 Block of 42nd Street East. Upon arrival, they located the person in question, and determined they were deceased. Investigation underway after body found in Stark County The Department does not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public. Officers have since been cleared from the scene, but detectives are continuing their investigation. The individual's identity will not be released at this time, as next of kin are being notified.
