BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Walker Wildcats spoiled the Dutchtown Griffins' undefeated season, handing them their first loss, 44-24. Walker set the tone early with a Tucker Silvio 45-yard rushing touchdown on the quarterback keeper. Silvio proved he is a threat with his arm as well, connecting with Hayden Ross for a 25-yard touchdown. On defense, Walker contained the Griffins' high-powered offense for most of the game, but Dutchtown quarterback Dylan Champagne still was able to hit Brayden Spurrier for a 50-yard touchdown. Walker will look to carry the momentum into next week, with a tough road test against Denham Springs. Dutchtown will hit the road next week to take on East Ascension.
