BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — East Ascension dropped its second straight game at home to Tuerlings Catholic, 28-14.

The undefeated Rebels didn't flinch, responding right back with a Douge Viltz touchdown, giving Teurlings Catholic a 14-7 lead at the break.
The Rebels shut out the Spartans in the second half, but East Ascension's defense battled hard and kept the Rebels to only two touchdowns in the final 12 minutes. The Spartans close the regular season with two tough district matchups against Dutchtown and Walker.
