KAPOLEI, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to a head-on collision in Kapolei that left three men in serious condition.

Paramedics in three ambulances and an EMS supervisor arrived at the incident shortly before 5:15 p.m. in the area of Franklin D. Roosevelt Avenue and Kasaan Bay Street.
Four injured in critical Kahala crash
The crash prompted a road closure of Franklin D. Roosevelt Ave. Traffic was rerouted through Ka Makana Mall from Kaualakai.
Officials treated two 37-year-old males and one 27-year-old male in serious condition for traumatic injuries.
The three patients were transported to trauma centers.
