SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man has serious injuries after being shot in the Mission District on Friday night, the San Francisco Police Department said. The shooting happened at about 8:10 p.m. in the area of 24th and Mission Streets. The victim was hospitalized, and his injuries are considered life-threatening. Officers are still investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with "SFPD." Police have not reported an arrest. Police activity blocked the outbound 27 Muni bus, the inbound and outbound 48 buses and the inbound 67 bus. The inbound 48 is now rerouting through Guerrero Street, and the other buses are running as normal.
