ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Halloween is only six days away and the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office gave families an early celebration. The department held its second annual trunk or treat event Friday evening at the Public Safety Training Academy on Broadway, north of Rio Bravo. Developers looking to buy Wells Fargo Bank in downtown Albuquerque The free event gave families the chance to speak with law enforcement and of course, enjoy lots of candy. "We just want them to know they can come up to us, they can be close to us and we should be someone they can trust," said BCSO Deputy Connor Otero. Kids were also able to see units from New Mexico State Police, Albuquerque police, and BCSO decorated with spooky Halloween decorations.
