PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A female victim is in the hospital after she was shot in Petersburg on Friday. Just before 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, the Petersburg Bureau of Police shared that its officers were investigating a shooting in the 200 block of Elm Street. According to police, a female victim of unknown age was shot. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. No other information is available at this time.
