CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County firefighters are fundraising for the county's animal shelter by posing with a variety of adoptable furry friends for a 2025 calendar. On Friday, Oct. 25, fire officials announced the release of the "2025 Chesterfield Fire and EMS and Animal Services Calendar." It's filled with photos of firefighters from all over the county, from different stations and shifts, alongside adoptable dogs and cats. While many of the animals in these photos have already been adopted -- as these pictures were previously shared on Chesterfield Fire and EMS' social media pages throughout the year -- there are still plenty more like them who need homes. All proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to the Chesterfield County Police Foundation to help fund the county's shelter and veterinary care for those it houses.
