FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A detached garage at a home in Fresno is "a total loss" after a fire occurred on Thursday, according to the Fresno Fire Department. Fresno Fire says just before 4:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire on the 800 block of North Yale Avenue. When crews arrived, they said, they found a detached garage with a well-involved fire that was quickly spreading to fences, trees, and a house. Crews say they were able to stop the fire from spreading to the home, however, the garage is a total loss. Fire investigators say they determined the fire had started in the alleyway and had spread to the garage.
