(KSNW)—The Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, and there are several sites in Wichita where you can dispose of unused prescription medications. The drug take-back day runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26. Where to learn about Wichita’s latest downtown parking proposals The DEA's website says the event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. Multiple law enforcement agencies in Wichita and the surrounding areas are participating in the take-back event, as well as the Robert Dole VA Medical Center in east Wichita.
