Town of LeRay, N.Y. — A 16-year-old who was lying on a state route in Jefferson County Thursday night was hit by a vehicle and later pronounced dead, New York State Police said.Robert C. Brierton, 63, of Calcium, NY, was driving west on State Route 342 when he hit Cameron M. Gianconna around 8:40 p.m., troopers said in a news a release Friday.
