Leilani Simon found guilty on all counts

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The jury found Leilani Simon guilty on all counts Friday in the 2022 murder of her toddler son, Quinton.
The jury convicted Simon of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, concealing the death of another, false report of a crime and 14 counts of making a false statement.
The trial lasted 10 days. The jury heard from 33 witnesses, from FBI officials and local police detectives to Simon’s brother and her then-boyfriend, throughout.
Simon faces life in prison. She will be sentenced at a later date, according to Judge Tammy Stokes.
