BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) -- A man is dead after a crash in Burlington on Friday afternoon, according to a Burlington Police Department news release. At 2:11 p.m., the Burlington officers responded to the intersection of US 70 at North Church Street and Beaumont Avenue when they were told about a severe crash. EMS pronounced Jonathan L. Pickard, 57, dead. He was a passenger in one of the cars during the crash, police say. Two other people were left with minor injuries.
