The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5... We finally saw some rain last night, but nothing much at all, on the order of 0.10 upwards to 0.25in. The clouds from the system held on tough this morning, but have cleared throughout the early afternoon. Highs today ran about ten degrees warmer then average in the upper 50s and low 60s with a breezy NW wind. Sweatshirt, blanket or jacket weather for Friday Night Lights, temperatures in the low 50s to start and will eventually cool into the mid 40s under mostly clear skies. Overnight high pressure building in from the west will promote clear skies but also relax the winds to around 5-10mph. This will help cool temperatures down into the 20s up north, but mainly low to mid 30s elsewhere. No frost of freeze headlines since the growing season has been deemed over. High pressure will be our main weather influence all weekend long, but what side of the high pressure system we are on will dictate our temperatures. Saturday we will be on the eastern side with sunshine and temperatures running around our seasonal average in the low to mid 50s. Temperatures fall into the low 30s overnight. Sunday, high pressure will be to our east so we will be on the backside and get a warmer wind flow, topping out in the low to mid 60s once again. Expecting mostly sunny skies and winds crank up gusting to around 25mph. This will help ramp up fire danger once again. Clouds take over Monday and it will get quite windy to start the week. Highs Monday in the upper 60s. Have to watch for a late isolated shower, but most should remain rain free. We stay fairly cloudy Tuesday, but a persistent wind will bring temperatures into the upper 70s Tuesday. The record is 77 degrees! Best chance for rain will be Wednesday going into Thursday morning. Halloween trick or treating looks dry, but something to monitor!
