(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has identified the individual who died after being involved in a crash with an electric Onewheel. On Oct. 6 at around 1:49 a.m., CSPD responded to the intersection of North Tejon Street and East Platte Avenue to investigate a crash between a motorcycle and a Onewheel. Crash between motorcycle and electric Onewheel Officers, members of the Colorado Springs Fire Department, and AMR provided medical aid to the operator of the Onewheel, and the man, identified as 52-year-old Benjamin Fox, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Days later, Fox died from his injuries. This is the 42nd traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year. At this same time last year, there were 39 fatalities.
