Baton Rouge car dealership to have free jambalaya, bounce house at pet adoption event

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Subaru of Baton Rouge is hosting a community pet adoption event at their showroom from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The event will have free jambalaya, giveaways and a bounce house for kids. The public and their pets are welcome to attend.
According to a news release, the car dealership is also sponsoring a $4,000 grant to Friends of Animals, a shelter in Baton Rouge.
The news release said the event supports the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, which involves over 630 Subaru retailers across the U.S., with more than $3 million in ASPCA-administered grants to help shelters with costs like veterinary care and adoption prep.
Subaru Baton Rouge is located at 13399 Airline Hwy.
