BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man was arrested after Ridgecrest police forced entry into a home and discovered narcotics, pounds of marijuana. Alexander Aguilera, a 41-year-old Ridgecrest man, was arrested Oct. 23 after police officers say he violated a Criminal Protective Order and discovered numerous firearms along with narcotics in his residence. Aguilera allegedly came to his ex-girlfriend's house, pushed her to the ground and proceeded to steal items on Oct. 23. Ridgecrest police tracked Aguilera, using the FLOCK automated license plate reader system, to his residence in the 200 block of S. Broadway St. Officers obtained search warrants and attempted to get Aguilera out of the residence for over an hour. Using the ram on the rescue vehicle, officers breached the front door and Aguilera walked out with a bulletproof vest on. After a residence search, officers seized several pounds of marijuana, multiple firearms, cocaine, suspected fentanyl and a large sum of currency. All items were seized as evidence, and Aguilar was placed under arrest.
