ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A former postal manager who admitted to stealing drugs from the mail to try and sell them has been sentenced Friday morning. Ralph Minni, 55, was the station manager of the Greece Post Office. Between May 2018 and May 2022, he took packages that contained drugs, out of the mail stream, including marijuana. He stored the items and then put the empty packages back into the mail stream. Minni took the drugs home before redistributing them to other people. In some instances, he gave cocaine to a coworker who proceeded to snort it in Minni's office. On May 2, 2022, investigators searched Minni's home and found marijuana, around 700 grams of cocaine, around 40 firearms, and over 19,000 rounds of ammo. They also found marijuana in his vehicle, which was stolen from a package. Minni was arrested on the same day he left the post office. He pleaded guilty in April 2024. Minni was convicted of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and possession of a firearm by an unlawful user of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to serve six years in prison.
