Topeka Rescue Mission seeking holiday donations
Oct 25, 2024
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Suzie Paslay and Andrew Lucas with the Topeka Rescue Mission (TRM) joined the 27 News Morning Show to talk about what they have planned for the holidays and how you can help.
Lucas said the TRM is trying to fill holiday expectations. He said the organization needs cranberry sauce, stuffing, canned pumpkin, gloves, headphones, earbuds, backpacks and more.
"We definitely need some Christmas heroes that will come along and help to stuff bags and help put together food bags; help deliver items because of the Christmas Bureau of Families," Paslay said.
You can learn how TRM gives back to the local homeless community by visiting their website here. You can watch the full interview above.
