TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Police Department (TPD) is working the scene of a serious but not life-threatening incident in downtown Topeka that sent one person to the hospital. According to the TPD, just before 11:30 a.m. officers were called to respond to a reported injury accident in the 800 block of SW Harrison St. According to police, a 79-year-old man had been hit by a vehicle in the parking lot.
