WINDSOR, Conn. (WWLP) - Halloween is almost here, and a popular spooky attraction just over the state line in Connecticut has moved to a new location this year. This weekend is the last weekend of the season for "The Great Halloween Drive-Thru;" a display of spooky holograms, special effects, sound effects, and more. The drive-thru does not feature live actors or "jump scares." In years past, the annual event was located in Suffield, but this year, they have moved to Windsor. "We’ve had a record-breaking season and are excited for our final weekend. The weather looks great for families to enjoy all three days. This event is perfect for those who want Halloween fun without the scare. We’re the only attraction like this anywhere in the country maybe – definitely in the Northeast," event creator Frank Campiti said. The drive-thru will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 6:30 to 9:30. The cost is $30 per car. They are located next to Brown's Harvest Farm at 1911 Poquonock Ave in Windsor, Connecticut.
