Last October weekend fall foliage report in Massachusetts
Oct 25, 2024
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - With no rain in the forecast for the weekend it will be great to get outside and enjoy some of the final days of the fall foliage season.
A look at how dry Massachusetts has been
November is a week away and with that comes the stick season when the trees turn completely bare. This weekend looks fantastic to get outside and take some last looks at the fall foliage.
For Berkshire County and Franklin County, the foliage is past peak while in Hampshire and Hampden Counties, it is peak for the fall colors. If you plan on getting outside to do some fall cleanup, the weekend looks completely dry but breezy.
Sunday will be the breeziest with winds around 10-15 mph so that may make it hard to clean up the leaves. It will be cool as well with temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
