Hartford man dies in Thursday crash
The Department of Public Safety says a car was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 near mile marker 366 when the vehicle left the roadway and collided into a start of a guardrail, then re-entered the roadway, where a truck collided with the car. A semi then collided with the front of the car.
The driver of the car, Destiny Annmarie Fine, of Canistota, was airlifted to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Department of Public Safety says alcohol is considered to be a factor in the initial collision with the guardrail.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
