LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — If you have old or expired prescription medicine to discard safely, Lexington is participating in the annual DEA National Drug Take Back Day this Saturday. According to city officials, residents can drop off unwanted or expired prescription drugs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Kentucky American Water building on Richmond Road. The event is part of a nationwide initiative to help communities safely dispose of unused medications, reducing the risk of misuse and preventing environmental harm.
