KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- It's Halloweekend and there are a lot of different ways to celebrate in the Kansas City area.
Whether it's a kid's trunk or treat or a Halloween-themed bar -- there's sure to be something for you this weekend.
Fall festivals in the Kansas City area you won’t want to miss
Here are some Halloween-themed events happening this weekend:
Beats and Broomsticks at Zona Rosa
Calling all ghosts, goblins, witches & Sanderson sisters. There will be Trick or Treating, a DJ, food trucks, Spooky brews & beer, and a showing of Hocus Pocus at 7 p.m.
When: Friday from 5 to 9:00 p.m.

Spooktacular at Spring Hill Sports Complex
Enjoy some safe and free trick-or-treating, games, activities, face painting, balloon twisting, cotton candy, a photo booth, and more at the Spring Hill Sports complex on Friday.
When: Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Trick or Treat Trail at Olathe Community Center
Get ready for a spooktacular time on the trick-or-treat trail at Stagecoach Park. Along the trail, there will be tables and candy stations with tricks, treats, and other goodies provided by staff and sponsors
When: Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Halloween Costume Party at Fringe Beerworks
Celebrate Halloween the Fringe way! Everyone in costume will get a discount plus a costume contest with prizes. So come out and have a Boo-tiful time
When: Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight

Boo at the Zoo
Celebrate Halloween at Boo at the Zoo! Bring the kids in their family-friendly costumes and join the KC Zoo for a not-so-scary, safe trick-or-treating experience.
When: Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: Free with admission to the zoo
Halloween Party at Sandbox
Head to the Sandbox for a Haunted Hospital Halloween Party. There will be hospital-themed food and drink specials. There will also be a dance contest and costume contest.
When: Saturday at 8 p.m.

Witchy Wine Hunt at Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery
Join the Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery for the After Dark Witchy Wine Hunt. Get "wined up" and ready to hunt. You will scour the vineyard, hunting for gifts, coupons and the three Witches of the Winery.
When: Saturday 6 to 9 p.m.

Trick or Treat in Downtown Overland Park
Kids can test out their best costumes at this free event! Pop into participating downtown Overland Park shops and visit the OP Farmers’ Market vendors for special treats! There will be a live DJ at the Clock Tower.
When: Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Halloween Train Ride at KC Northern Railroad
The Halloween Train will have a Halloween costume contest and much more fun! There will be a trunk or treat. The costume contest starts at 1 p.m.
When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $5 for trunk or treat and $5 for a train ride
Terror at Electric Park
The haunted distillery of horrors will be pulsing with music by DJ cQuence and DJ Smalls. Slide into the giant ball pit of terror and see into the future with tarot card readings and astrologer readings. There will also be face painting and circus performances.
When: Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight

Spooky Emo Night at BrewTop North KC
Celebrate BrewTop Northland's first-ever Emo Night LIVE! Halloween wouldn't be complete without KCeMO celebrating their favorite holiday in style.

Boo Bash with Bluey and Bingo at MY Play Cafe
Head to the Boo Bash for a fun-filled afternoon of play, activities, and snacks in your costume. Enjoy a special visit from Bluey and Bingo, and don’t miss our exciting costume contest!
