Teenager arrested in Wisconsin for burglarizing a local business

WASHINGTON, Wis. (WFRV) — A 16-year-old from Wisconsin was arrested after being accused of burglarizing a local business on Sunday morning.
According to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred on Oct. 20, 2024, shortly before 8:15 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Narrows Valley Supply in Washington, where money, clothing, hunting and fishing equipment, and ammunition were stolen.

A detective identified the suspect as a 16-year-old juvenile from Elroy and discovered items allegedly stolen during the burglary at the suspect's residence. The teenager later admitted to the crime.

The juvenile faces charges of burglary, possession with intent to deliver THC (less than or equal to 200 grams), and obstructing an officer. The case will be referred to juvenile court.
