(SOUTHERN COLORADO) - Tuesday, Oct. 29, is likely to start off dry with a really quick warm-up across the area, but by the afternoon much colder air will be pouring into the region. Rain and snow won't be far behind. In fact, the ski resorts should be getting some pretty good snow by Tuesday afternoon.
A big dip in the jet stream called a trough will march from west to east across the Rockies Tuesday night and by Wednesday morning the first accumulating snow of the season may occur over the higher terrain surrounding Colorado Springs and over the Wet Mountains and Trinidad areas.
How much snow will fall is yet to be determined. Get our latest full forecast.
