Central Ohio Weather and Radar A wave of low pressure will trigger showers east of I-71 early this afternoon. Winds will increase from the southwest, as sunshine develops behind a warm front and temperatures approach 70 degrees. A final round of showers will move southeast along a trailing cold front around sunset, but should be light and not a significant concern for Football Friday Nite. Readings will fall back into the mid-60s. In the wake of the front on Saturday, temperatures will cool down into the low 60s, which means perfect fall weather for the OSU-Nebraska game, with a noon kickoff temperatures in the upper 50s. High pressure will build southward across the region, providing fair skies and chilly mornings through early next week. Another substantial warmup will commence on Tuesday and continue through Halloween, when we could see our next chance for showers Thursday afternoon and evening. Forecast Friday: Mix clouds and sun, breezy, scattered showers. High 70 Tonight: Spotty evening showers. Low 46 Saturday: Mainly sunny. High 61 Sunday: Early frost, sunny, crisp. High 60 (35) Monday: Sunny, mild. High 69 (37) Tuesday: Mostly sunny, warmer. High 76 (52) Wednesday: Partly cloudy, breezy. High 79 (57) Thursday: Clouds increase, few showers. High 78 (62)
