MPD: Man charged in connection to Northwest DC stabbing

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police arrested a man in connection to a stabbing in Northwest that happened on Sunday.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on Sunday just before 6:15 p.m., officers were called to the 1400 block of Irving Street for the report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation, detectives arrested 34-year-old Michael Trone, of Northwest.
He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
