ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - It's a cold start this morning! Temperatures are in the 30s. While we may start sunny, clouds return ahead of our next front by tonight. This is another moisture starved front that will not produce much rain along the boundary, but it does enforce a northwest wind going into Saturday. The air should be cold enough here that some lake-effect rain showers pop up by mid day and into the Saturday afternoon. These won't amount to much and should be the only rain of the weekend. High pressure returns Sunday and we clear out skies with temperatures still in the 40s and 50s. High pressure is near Cape Cod by Monday and we keep clear skies. Temperatures take a jump with highs in the upper 50s (lows are still in the 30s here). A warm front moves through Tuesday into Wednesday and that should open the door for some above average days with highs in the 60s and lows in the upper 40s. The following cold front will approach by Halloween, but we are unclear where the front will be by the 31st. If it stalls, we are warm and dry. If it's more progressive and advances east, we get rain and a bit cooler air.
