BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A 26-year-old man accused of stabbing his father to death will wait to be arraigned on murder charges pending the outcome of a competency evaluation.
Police said Matthew Paluzzi stabbed and killed his 73-year-old father after an argument back in August.
According to prosecutors, he told police that he had “snapped.”
His mother had told police on the 911 call after finding her husband that Paluzzi suffered from mental health issues.
Paluzzi was arrested in Hanover in connection with the investigation.
He’s due back in court on November 14.
