PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — We have another couple of days of warm weather before an autumn chill arrives. While temperatures are very chilly this morning, in the lower-to-mid-40s, there will be a pleasant rebound later this afternoon.  The Page Grimsley Reunion Rivalry Golf Tournament is today at Bryan Park, and the weather should be cool for the 10 a.m. shotgun start. Highs today are going to return to the mid-70s under mostly sunny skies. Football games tonight are in great shape, with clear skies and temperatures holding steadily in the 60s. Lows will settle to the mid-50s overnight. A cold front is moving toward the TN/NC line, and it will be moving into the mountains by tomorrow morning. There is a 20% chance of showers tomorrow afternoon and evening, otherwise, we're expecting partly cloudy conditions.  Highs will be 10° above normal on Saturday, reaching the upper-70s! Behind the cold front, Sunday will be mostly cloudy with cool temperatures, only warming to the lower-60s.   This cool spell will be short-lived. Monday's highs are forecast to rise to the mid-60s with loads of sunshine.  The rest of the work week, we will be warming through the 70s.  In fact, highs on Wednesday and Thursday are going to be about 10° above normal — AGAIN!  Through the middle of next week, we'll have scattered clouds each day, but no additional rain is in the forecast.
