A fast-moving weather system is bringing showers and some storms into the area through late this morning, setting the stage for a cooler weekend. Much-needed rain is moving through the area but it won't last long temperatures will be in the upper 50s to around 60 by noon. Temperatures will begin to fall back in the lower 60s by late this afternoon Drought conditions remain unchanged for area Winds will be gusty at times this afternoon South winds will turn to the northwest bringing in cooler air for the weekend. Winds will be gusty this afternoon up to 20 mph and nearly steady temperatures in the middle 60s. Clouds will stick around for much of the evening clearing toward daybreak on Saturday. Sunshine will be abundant this weekend with a high in the lower 60s and low temperatures in the 30s. The cooldown doesn't last long as gusty southwest winds bring temperatures to near record-setting levels in the upper 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Light rain is possible on Halloween and continues through next weekend as temperatures cool into the 50s and 60s to begin the month of November.
