(KRON) -- Four teenage girls were arrested on Wednesday for assault at the Lake Merritt BART station in Oakland, BART police said. The four teens were taken into custody at 6:59 p.m. and later booked into the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center. Three suspects are 15 years old and the other is 16. BART police said the 16-year-old and one of the 15-year-olds were also charged with robbery. The suspects were not identified as they are minors. BART police did not release any further details about the assault.
